1. Information We Collect
  • Account Info: name, phone, email, profile photo
  • Location Data: real-time and historical (to power routing, safety, receipts, compliance)
  • Driver Docs: license, registration, insurance, inspection records
  • Device/Usage Data: device type, OS, app version, crash logs, diagnostics
  • Payment Data: processed by Stripe; MoVira does not store full card numbers
2. How We Use Information
  • Provide and improve mobility services and features
  • Price trips, route efficiently, and issue receipts
  • Verify driver eligibility and conduct background checks via Checkr
  • Process secure payments, driver subscriptions, and payouts via Stripe
  • Enable masked voice/chat for privacy (e.g., VOIP)
  • Maintain safety (SOS), prevent fraud, and comply with law
3. Sharing & Disclosure

We share data only as needed to run MoVira or comply with law:

  • Stripe: payments, subscriptions, payouts
  • Checkr: driver background screening
  • Telecom/VOIP provider (e.g., Agora or equivalent): in-app calling/messaging
  • Cloud hosting (e.g., AWS or equivalent): secure infrastructure
  • Law enforcement/regulators: when legally required
    We do not sell personal data.
4. Data Security
  • Encryption in transit and at rest
  • Strict role-based access controls and 2FA
  • Monitoring, auditing, and periodic security reviews
5. Data Retention

We retain information as long as necessary to provide services, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods vary by data type and jurisdiction.

MoVira is not directed to children under 13 (or the applicable age of consent). We do not knowingly collect data from children.
